I am an economist studying the human, social, and economic impacts of AI and how institutions should respond. My research examines how AI capabilities develop, whose interests AI systems serve, and how they change human behavior and decision-making. I draw on economic theory, philosophy, the humanities, and art to explore these questions, and respond by building empirical infrastructure and policy instruments.

Before joining Carnegie Mellon, I was the Howard and Nancy Marks Fellow at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. I received a  Ph.D. in economics from the Paris School of Economics and a  Ph.D. in philosophy from the Sorbonne, both in 2023.
